1.Geologist Group A : 300 posts in Geological Survey of India
2.Jr. Hydrologists (Scientist B) Group A : 07 posts in Central Ground Water Board
3.Assistant Hydrologists Group B : 30 posts in Central Ground Water Board
Age Limit : Candidates must have attained the age of 21 years and must not have attained the age of 32 years on 1st January, 2011.
Relaxation in the upper age limit as per Govt. of India rules.
Qualification Required : Master's Degree in Geology or Applied Geology or Marine Geology/ Mineral Exploration/Hydrology or Diploma of Associateship in Applied Geology of the Indian School of Mines, Dhanbad.

Application Fee : Rs. 100/- through Central Recruitment Fee Stamp only. OBC candidates are required to pay full fees. But no fee for SC/ST candidates
